As usual we had a great time here in this popular resort of Great Yarmouth this summer. Our Hotel was very comfortable and is situated within easy reach of all local attractions and the sea. Just a short walk and you are in the town centre. The terrain is very flat which is great for walking or wheelchair visitors. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly and are always on hand to assist in any way they can. The food is great and offers plenty of choices at breakfast and dinner. Evening entertainment is held on Mondays , Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays evenings, and usually have a DJ, comedians, disco which suits all age groups. The hotel also has a pool table, darts, sauna and swimming pool.
Throughout our week here we visited Thrigby Hall, which is a wildlife and conservation park, we enjoyed getting up close to the tigers, snow leopards and other animals. We also visited both the Britannia and Wellington piers. The amusement arcades are also great way to spend a few hours or two testing our luck on the penny machines.
Other visits were to the Broads, we had a good day sailing on the water. Hemsby which has large sand dunes, Caister Castle where we went back in time to see the classic car museum and wonderful gardens, and the Hippodrome.
Everyone had a great time here and is well worth a visit.
